The president was welcomed by tens of spirited supporters of the party at Agona Nkwanta.
President Mahama told the supporters that Agona Nkwanta is so dear to him and is aware of the challenges the people face.
President Mahama gave the assurance that the proposed polyclinic will also be awarded to Jusmore Construction Limited.
He said government is in the process of executing oil enclave roads in the region.
He said roads earmarked for the enclave included Princess Town Junction-Princess Town.
“Princess Town Junction to Princess Town road is the main challenge of this town. We awarded the contract to a contractor but you know the behavior of some contractors. When you award the contract to them, they don’t have the equipment to execute it so there will be some delays. So, the road contract has been cancelled and re-awarded to Jusmore”.
“So Nana, all that you have requested for have been put on paper by the Regional Minister. I will review them and God-willing, we will execute them. The polyclinic is not a problem at all. I will talk to the Ministry of Health to look into that. Once we have got a contractor coming to work on the road, we will also add the polyclinic project to him”, he said.
